quotes that I like

"What do we live for? To do good." -John H Patterson (the Dayton one)

"Learn from me, if not by my precepts, at least by my example, how dangerous is the acquirement of knowledge and how much happier that man is who believes his native town to be the world, than he who aspires to become greater than his nature will allow." -Mary Shelly, Frankenstein

This is not to preach ignorance, but to be wary of how excess information can ruin a person. It is good to be devoted to one's life, loved ones, responsibilities, and endeavors. But to peek inside every problem, controversy, debate, achievement, and opinion that the world has to offer and get nothing done as a result has caused me nothing but trouble. This ties into the next quote:

"Be a problem solver, not a problem finder. You will never run out of problems to find." by e- at moonkitty.neocities.org
